Guide: How to price your items.

    Overdosed Market

Please note that all the prices listed here are considered average and what Overdosed has deemed is the most fair. Players may often sell for slightly more or slightly less, it is their choice. Also people in zone chats may sell items at wildly different
prices because people on ESO rarely have any idea of what the worth of an item really is. Prices in this list may change depending on changes within the game, their availability, and their demand. So please check back every so often.

    Gear

Normal White Gear (for deconstruction) - 40g

    Green Gear - 250g

    Blue Gear - 500g

    Purple Gear - 1000g

    Legendary Gear - 5000g

Certain features of an equipment can increase it's value. Normal White gear is largely unaffected by this except in the case of Traits for Research.

    If a gear is between level 30 - 50, +20%

If a gear is a veteran rank level, +50%

If a gear is part of a Set, +20%

If a gear is a weapon or chest piece armor, +20%

If a gear has a valuable Research trait on it, (I'm having troubles determining particular price improvements for traits, there are many traits and they aren't actual items, just stats, so information on their cost is sparse)

If a gear has a valuable enchantment on it, +20% for each level of enchantment (Enchantments also come in white, green, blue, purple, and yellow levels, with more powerful enchantments yielding even greater benefits, basically every level up adds another
    20% to the price.)

If a gear was a reward for a quest, then it's rarely worth more than 150g regardless of what other features it has. This is because technically anyone can get the item for free just by doing the quest, so it isn't worth much. You can tell when a gear is
a quest reward because it will have a small description at the bottom of it related to the quest it was found in.

The price of an item is based on two things, availability (determined by how frequently the item is found or farmed, and how many people are around the level range to find it) and demand (determined by how many people want it and how many crafters of
that type there actually are). As such the prices are not always linear, higher grade materials are not necessarily worth more because there can be just as many people of the level to farm them and just as many people of the level to use them as any lower
    level grade.

  2. Preorder Processes?

I bought from Microsoft store and there policy states that they only charge when the item is shipped here is the exact quote from Microsoft store site

    Pre-Order Price Guarantee

The advertised price for pre-order items may increase or decrease prior to the date the product is released to the public. However, you’ll only be charged the lowest price offered between the time you place your pre-order and the date the product is released
to the public. Also, we won't charge your credit card until you download the product or we ship it to you.The Pre-Order Price Guarantee only applies to pre-order items and prices offered on the Microsoft Store.
It does not apply to items and prices advertised by other sellers, prices inclusive of taxes, shipping charges, or typographical errors. For pre-order offers based on an estimated price rather than the official price, the Pre-Order Price Guarantee only applies
to and will be based on the official price for the item when announced.

  3. Wrongly priced deals on xbox video

Apologies for any confusion. The price showing for the items in the bundle isn't the price that is reflected when you go to actually purchase the items. When you purchase the items individually, you will see that the price is higher than the price listed
    in the bundle itself.

Basically, if you go look at the bundled items, that price is not correct. When you select those items and purchase it on the their own pages, that is the correct price, which is higher than the price in the bundled items.

Does that help clear things up?

Thanks to Terra over at Clan Overdosed (PC Guild/etc) for this info, these are the prices that they use to be when I played, so most stuff is around this price range, it can be less or more, all decided on the players preference. (This was last updated 6
months ago or so, but when I did play PC, this was the price for stuff after a month and stuff stabilized)

Would you like to buy the strategy guide?

I buy collectors guides for certain games. I like them more as collectors items and I like the art in them.

The bayonetta one, is now hard to come by and sells for a crazy price.

Sometimes they are a good read too.

    Over-priced games! DISGRACE!

The pricing difference is most likely due to import taxes and tariffs that are charged on any good that is imported. The rates vary depending on how the item being imported is classified. If video games are considered a luxury item then the tax charged
are a lot higher so you need to look to your own country for this.
