Guide Button/Snap view issues

Discus and support Guide Button/Snap view issues in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Whenever I press the guide button, my snap view pops up and this screen pops up saying, "You need to install the game and app for this".     Guide Button/Snap view issues


    Whenever I press the guide button, my snap view pops up and this screen pops up saying, "You need to install the game and app for this". I have a picture of this issue running on the preview of the October update posted below; but previously to the October update,
    I have had this issue since the launch of the Xbox one in November. Additionally, before the October update, the screen would go home as well as the snap view and would rapidly switch back and forth between snapped app and the main app or game I was running.

    Snap view issues

    Hi, I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but here are some possible answers:

    -You can switch between the snapped and fill app by saying "Xbox Switch" or double-tapping the Nexus/Xbox button

    -You can't mute Live TV when snapped right now

    -You can snap TV to a game, but you can't snap a game to TV

    Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. That should solve the issue. Also, if you have a Kinect you can say "Xbox Snap Achievements" to snap them to the side to see their progress.

    If you do not have a kinect simply double tap the Guide button to bring up the snap menu.

    Hit the guide button twice in quick succession to switch between your game and the snapped app.

    Achievement display glitch?

    That is odd but it sounds as though you're going through your notification section. If you have a Kinect you can use voice commands within a game to see them by saying Xbox Snap Achievements. If you do not have a Kinect you can double tap the Guide button
    and press up to snap then choose Achievements from the list. To get rid of the snapped item just double tap the Guide button again and press down to unsnap.

    If you double tab the Guide button ( the power on lighted X on the controller) it will also switch from snap to game.
