    GUEST KEY ISSUES


    Hello

    During a call to xbox, regarding games that I own asking me to renew my subscription, the rep had me remove my profile from my
    xbox. When i tried to reinstall it, it asked for a guest key only I don't recall adding a guest key. I do have a passkey to log into my account because my nephew also plays and has an account on my
    xbox. I tried to change his age so he has an adult permission to remove the guest passkey but no luck. I'm devastated at this point. Can someone help
    me please

    passkey removal not working

    If you are referring to the guest key, check this out:
    support.xbox.com/.../forgot-guest-key

    A forgotten guest key can be reset by any adult as long as that person knows the password that they use to sign in to their Microsoft account on the console. The adult must be signed in on the console to reset the guest key.

    Have you attempted to unlock the guest key? I have read on the support page entering it wrong 3 times it should ask you to then enter the password to your Microsoft account instead.

    Let us know if it works or not!
