Guest Characters?

I remember hearing on one of the streams that they are thinking of including guest characters...

I'd like to see characters like Master Chief and Marcus Fenix, but personally, I'd LOVE to see Exile from the Microsoft Owned Fighting Game "Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus".

You can take 2 types of guests online , i thought.

1- An account that you created on your xbox wich has to be gold for online play even as a guest.

2-or just the guest account that you should be able to select (the bottom one). should be called just guest.

with that acount you can always play as guest if the game provides guest play online.

 

I don't think KI is the kind of game to include guest characters. Although I definitely believe the game needs more characters, period.

 

^^ Agreed. I really can't see anyone fitting in with KI plus I don't think anyone is asking something like this. Most just want the old characters back (Cinder, Riptor, etc). Now if they do another KI around the time Gears of War comes back I can see them
possibility doing Marcus to cross promote (unlikely).

Now if I had to choose someone to guest feature it would be Lui Kang

I'd love to see some Rare characters make an appearance personally! Even a Banjo alt for sabrewulf would do for me. But yeah I think the Arbiter from halo would be a good fit. Hopefully even a locust from gears.

 

Yes, guest character pack after Season 2 or 3. Arbiter is a must, battle toads would be awesome to. Obviously it won't be canon though

I don't think they should do ANY guest characters UNTIL all characters from KI1 and 2 are in. THEN we can worry about guest characters

 

It's a definite no. They were asked that during the Fulgore stream and said NOPE, at least not in season 2.

 

Guest characters would not only ruin the integrity of the game, but would make this game a joke. I want people to take KI seriously as a great fighter and competitive game. Not something someone will know to have Banjo as a selectable character.

They did the Spartan guest character in DoA.

 

I have to agree with RoTeNdO, integrity and notoriety are crucial for KI right now, it's come back from a long vacation and needs to assert itself with it's own media. Guest characters maybe a good idea sometime in the far future but even then it would have
to be characters that make sense to the universe.

 

^^ Exactly. We don't even have a full game yet lol. My guess is if Season 2 goes great then KI will probably see a actually retail release for the next KI and with that, a possibility of a guest character.
