    Hello,

    I bought my XboxOne X at the 01.12.2017 and had to sent it to MS a month later because the Fan had/has an unbalance. I did not recieve a new one, they repaired it. Now I have the same problem again, I doubt that it was repaired properly.

    But my account says my guarantee expired at the 11.01.2018. MS shipped the console back to me at the 10.01.2018.

    How can my guarantee expire the day after a repair?

    There are no places to repair the controller after the warranty has expired. It would probably cost more to get it repaired than to purchase a new one.

    Is this the first time that ot happens? One of the possible causes could be:

    • Dirty or broken disc-reading laser lens
    • Malfunctioning hardware due to dust on cooling fans
    • Overheating or warped hardware due to faulty thermal conductors
    • Aged hardware from excessive use
    Does the red light blink? If so it could be due to lack of ventilation,if that's the case try to change it to an open area away from other electric devices so it can cold down.

    If your xbox doesn't start even after letting it cold down it might need a repair because the problem resides in the hardware,if your guarantee is still active you can ask for a repair in the link below

    You are gonna need the serial number of your xbox which you can find at the back of it.

    If your guarantee expired you are gonna have to find a repair center over there
