Guacamelee help

for the one's that have played the game on xbox one Guacamelee.how do you defeat the woman.i get to the part where there is two of them in something like a shield i just don't know how to defeat her one shield purple and the other is green i think

Im still unsure of the actual fighting controls? Not sure if I'm missing something or what......

 

You need to use the rooster uppercut (up and b) on the one with the red shield and the frog slam (down and b ) on the one with the green shield.

 

or it could be B with no direction for the yellow shields (headbut) or towards the person and B for the fist dash which removes blue shields and if its white you simply have to lay into the shield with combos till it breaks.

Basically the coloured blocks you see around the world that you have to break with specific attacks is basically how the shields work, colour coordinated like the blocks apart from the white which just needs lots of attacks in quick succession.

 

Cheers for that did it in the end the bit am stuck on now is its telling me to make my way to Sierra towards the great temple.The thing is i have gone every route i can think off and can't get to Sierra

 

hmm is that the place i think you have to go back to the town underneath it on the map(santa luchita or something) then out to the left where you goto the temple of rain next to the olmec head theres some platforms going up then you can goat run up the big
flat side there, i think thats the place

 

You got goat climb yet? I just finished the game and this guide helped me a bit.

For anyone frustrated by the analog control, and using the goat move, you can HOLD Y while on wall to cling, or to cling once you hit the wall. Figured this out when I was about to pull my hair out on the later board with buzz saws under you and those explosion
mobs appear one at a time. Hope this helps somebody.

 

Is it possible to explore and do side missions after beating main story ?

 

Red shield = Upper cut attack

green shield = frog slam attack

yes, you can finish the sidequests after beating Calaca. However, in my case, I did not get the achievements for beating Calaca, the final boss...
