GTA5 purchased for 360 / transfer to xbox one ?

Hi there,

I purchased through the XBox Live Account GTA5. So yes, the download version, no DVD.

The purchase was done for my XBOX 360. Now I want to buy the new XBox one.

Can I play the game also on my XBOX ONE or would I need to purchase again ?

DLC transferring between Xbox 360 and Xbox One depends on whether or not you purchased the DLC with a Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass.

If you have a Season Pass:

DLC purchased on Xbox 360 will transfer to Xbox One.

DLC purchased on Xbox One will not transfer to Xbox 360.

If you do not have a Season Pass:

DLC purchased on Xbox 360 will not transfer to Xbox One.

DLC purchased on Xbox One will not transfer to Xbox 360.

Yes, you can transfer your online gta5 data from the 360 version to the xbox one version. They guide you through it in the game.

And an Xbox One S can play all the games an original Xbox One can play. So **** be safe on that front too.

 

You would need to purchase it again.

Some publishers have set up offers to upgrade for free or at a discounted price if you purchase the 360 version and are upgrading to the One. You can find out if a game is eligible either through the game's official website or the description of the game
on the marketplace. It appears that there is not an offer for that game.
