    How do I GET and safely use different mods for GTA 5 on XBOX360? Specially character mods. My son is a gta5 fanatic and has seen several videos online of people using different nodded characters. I have researched how to do this but so far have had zero
    success. I have also read in several different forums that use of mods in game play is restricted to offline play only. My question on that matter is this... Is there a way to use the mods, once downloaded, straight from the flash drive? Rather than installing
    the mod software to the Xbox console? I would hate for me or my son to lose our Xbox live account because he may make a mistake or not understand the restrictions. Thank you, and hopefully you can point me in the right direction and provide me with the information
    that I need.

    Modding is not condoned by Microsoft or Rockstar and could result in a suspension from Xbox Live if you are reported.

    unfortunatelly the only way to have mods on console is to “jailbreak it” which is strictly against Microsofts guidlines. If mods are detected on an xbox live profile the said profile will fall victim to a suspension/ban. This is the same for any
    in-game profiles created as well. (E.x. Rockstar account)

    You could have your xbox live profile banned if you take part in modding a game the banhammer is real

    The Xbox Live Code of Conduct is not what you want on your profile when this happens

    Most videos online demonstrating modification are PC versions. As stated by others, modding is against Microsoft guidelines .
