GTA5 Freezing

Hello, I have gta5 on the white xbox 360. When playing the game it will freeze randomly. It is not the disc because the disc has no scratches on it and it played fine on my friends before . and its not my xbox because I can play other games just fine. Is
there any way to fix this. I do not want theory's I want a solution

360 freezes at start screen

My sons Xbox is freezing at the start up screen. If I remove the memory it works fine. This started right after he loaded a used GTA5 game the game played for about 10 min then locked up he removed and we bought a new gta5 but then it stuck at start..

 

GTA5 Online freezing during load up

Due to the fact that all other online games work for his XBL profile, I'm led to believe that his GTA online profile became corrupted. However, there is a sliver of hope because there is also another possibility of what might have caused this, and Rockstar
is currently investigating. (It's only been 4 days since Rockstar looked into it so stay strong)

Are you playing online when it happens? If so, it could just be lag. If not online, I can't say. Sometimes a big game like this, will freeze on occasion. It happens.

 

Its anything on the game. It is using to much graphics I guess. I want a full refund from rock star for selling me a game that is made for the xbox 360 but isn't at the same time. Unless they can make a update I want a refund

 

It's not exactly their fault. You have a dinosaur Xbox, what do you expect?

 

That's where your wrong. It specifies it is usuable with the xbox 360 console. If it is unusable with my " dinosuar" xbox. Then they should specify it is only to be used with the newer models. It is there fault for not giving the content to the provided
systems. Sorry you think that way Defy Lightning.

 

Not all XBOX360's are equal unfortunately, many games have problems depending on the version of the console they are played on, it's a known fact within the community...

 

No not really. Most of the issues involving other games don't involve it because the new games " Battlefield 4 and GTA 5 have a lot of graphics . they are the 2 that have been having problems. They are probably the most graphic heavy games on xbox. Though,
the xbox arcade cannot handle the amount of graphics... The people having trouble with other games either have a disc tray lenses error or just a disc error. They don't have the problem of not being able to handle graphics WILK0

 

My guess it that it is indeed your console at fault, but it could also be a connection issue (as unlikely as that sounds), even if you are not playing online the console is still connected to the internet and this can sometimes cause problems with games.
