GTA4 Region code error

Hi there,

the Xbox 360 consoles (and some games) are regionally locked, which means that the console will only be able to run Discs from the region where it originates from.

If you receive a region error code then the Disc does not match the region from the console.

The only way to make it work is to get matching regions on console and disc. There is no way around it.

That error code usually indicates an region issue:

Is your account region set to the same as your physical location?

You can't as gift card balances can't be used for bc titles

It has to be a creditcard

And bc also comes with restrictions

Si if your "friend " makes an out of region account to receive the code

gifting won't work as the servers check their GEOIP and would block it if it doesn't match your code

You do know that gta4 is available on Xbox one too right ?

If you gift that version that will work

this troubleshooter and verify that the region of your account is tied to your current locale. Cross-region accounts aren't supported and can cause some trouble when it comes to redeeming
a code.
