    GTA V won't download after purchase


    Xbox.com status indicates problems with downloading purchased content. I have been stuck at 29% on my download for three days. I think the only option is to continue waiting for the service to be restored. Does that seem accurate?

    stop the download, turn your console off, pull the hard drive out, reinsert your hard drive, turn the console on, clear system cache 3 times, redownload your game from the download history.

    If GTA V is indeed downloaded from the marketplace and not a disc, try this.

    Delete GTA V and clear your cache 3 times.

    Restart your console.

    Download 16 GB of demos (this is how big GTA V will be in the end)

    Once those have finished download all the GTA V files from your download history (GTA V, Installation Packs 1-4)

    After you've done that, feel free to delete the demos.

    This worked for me, hopefully it works for you too!

    Just to let everyone know, unless you don't already know, that GTA V Online won't be availalble on launch on GTA V but will be 2 weeks or something after the game is released. That's what I read online..

    Hi, the xbox 360 version of GTA V is not compatible on the Xbox One. If you want to play GTA V on the Xbox One then you will have to purchase the Xbox One version of the game. Not all games are free to download on the One if you own it on 360 first. GTA
    V never had an offer to get it for free if purchased on 360 first. Rockstar games decided not to have promotion like that.

    What are you asking exactly? If you get game pass, then yes you can download GTA V at no additional cost, as it is currently in game pass. If you are cancelling game pass, then you will need to purchase GTA V, as you will lose access to it.
