GTA V stuck on "Loading Story Mode: <username>"

Another with this problem. Sort it out!

 

Hey there guys! Did any of you update your previous generation GTA profile to the next gen versions (through Social Club)? If you guys transferred your saves, please post back and let us know!

 

Yes I did transfer from my Xbox 360 to my Xbox one

 

I also am having this issue, with all my games atom. Two of my Xbox one friends also are experiencing this issue.

I definitely suggest trying what doomey posted above. If that doesn't help, please be sure to post back to let us know if you transferred your save from another console to the Xbox One version. Also post the steps you followed when you did transfer your
character.

 

I am having the same problem. Trying to uninstall and reinstall the game but xbox wont uninstall the game. Never got past the "loading story mode: username" screen with girl in red bikini. Tried logging out of xboxlive and going offline. Nothing works.
Any solutions yet?

 

A full powere cycle on and off solved the problem for me

 

I've been stuck on the loading store mode : username screen for hours and I've turned the console off restarted download and nothing. What can I do

 

Everybody I found the solution to this problem! I have told my friends and it has worked for everybody so far!

If you encounter this problem of installing it and it will not get past the girl in a red bikini, and says "Loading Story Mode for _______ " and the circle keeps on spinning.

1. Press your X BOX button on your remote so you are at the xbox main screen.

2. Press start while icon over the mini GTA 5 screen select quit game.

3. Press and hold the xbox button on the remote control and turn off console.

4. When the xbox one is off. Unplug from wall and xbox power cube.

5. Wait minimum 1 minute then plug everything back in.

6. Start up system, then load GTA 5.

7. Now enjoy your GTA 5 anyway you would like.

I'm sorry but I don't know how to make a new thread, and I didn't an issue like mine anywhere on any forum either.

I bought the 500k for single player/online gta 5 bundle for Xbox 1 but I can't even connect via the Xbox Store tab. It always gives me the "There is nothing available right now. Check back later!" message. Every. Single. Time.

It's been like this for weeks. Why is it like this?

 

so what? This just happened to me, after weeks playing, around 60% of story completed, it just hangs at Loading Story mode.. there has to be a fix for this!

Metacharr that is because you are going into gta store while you are in story mode try doing it online and it should come up with sharkcards (to buy)
