GTA V Online too much problem's

not everyone in public lobbies are hackers/modders deaths head, how else would you meet new people in gta5? heck that's where I met 40% of my friends. I understand where your coming from, but what im saying is when I go online to a public lobby, I battle
anyone who wants to battle. I only came across 1 hacker and that was a long time ago when people were giving billions of dollars away.

 

wow.... I guess I haven't seen any of this cause I haven't played this game since destiny came out... I will admit, when I was playing, there were crazy people there killing just for the heck, but they would show as red dots on the maps. I rarely had problems
with the white dots. I would just drag race them all day and look at peoples cars till I saw someone put up a mission to join. I guess that's how the game was suppose to be played.

 

Nowadays... it's everyone for themselves. Even in passive mode, running to build up stamina... get run over by numerous players or abused for being 'a child in passive mode'. Can't even get to the airport at times, due to the number of players sniping from
the hangers all the time. The community has gotten a lot worse and will continue to do so... forcing more and more people to go to solo/private sessions to do things and play it properly... not like immature brats.

 

on my 3rd time of doing story mode just to enjoy the game, going very slow this time to make it last.

 

great now im tempted to get online and see how many people will come to kill me lol I don't know man, I just cant see it as nothing else except a challenge. the only thing that would push me into not playing the game anymore (because I don't find fun in
private lobbies, would rather play campaign, theres more to do there) would be modders affecting my Microsoft account/XBOX Live account

 

I played story mode about 7hr straight & barley realized it, 20 min of Online and Im done.......

 

I meet people in social media. Its far better for meeting people. Thats why I know every member of my crew and why many other crews do not know each of their own team mates and eventually despte them sharing the same tag they kill their own crew members
anyway. Plus it isnt just a modder in a room. Its that Modders release viral mods. Pretty much all of them are. So you dont have to be in a room to with a modder to be infected. You just have to be in a room with someone who was previously in a room with a
modder. The only way to get rid of viral mods is to reset your x box. So public is best stayed away from until these things are resolved by Rockstar. I always take my crew into private rooms to start jobs or someone would get killed and get ticked then next
thing ya know my entire crew is hunting the whole room and we would get nothing fun done. Plus I have to many members for public rooms. I need all 16 seats on a good crew night.

 

I guess basically we have more fun together than with random [Mod removed] that we do not know and that think GTA is COD.

It would make a good combo, get the in-depth story line and playability of GTAV story mode & a well organized Online mode that included a COD style of play but only if you chose as such, no in-between hey lets pretend to do mission or race then just shoot
people. remove the goof off factor of online. People don't screw off in COD for the majority, some seem that way but just suck.

As RS does a great job on story lines, only developers that I really enjoy store modes more. But none of the COD story lines are even close to as fun. Have tried them all,and never finished one, I only do online with CODs... some way to find a proper mix
would clean up or keep me busy with one game.

As I just switch between story mode for GTAV, RedDead [ Rage as good] and then jump into Ops2 or Ghost for my killing fix.

I went back online, and nothing happen. checked 3 different lobbies, and nothing. I don't know if its because people are scared of my level, but it cant be that because they weren't even killing each other. it was cool cruising around in my feltzer looking
for some action, but nothing was going on. I had to kill some body just to get some action started. I guess I'm one of those players yall don't like playing with. but I had a reason though, this guy was hitting another player with his car, so I threw a sticky
on his ride and blew it up hehehehehe after that, it was all action for me. chasin and shootin, funny funny fun fun

 

New reason to avoid public rooms. I just heard yesterday that the modders are now taking peoples weapons and their money. I have a lot of money and I worked hard for it so you wont see me in a public room anytime soon. Avoiding it like the plague.

 

To comment on what Zone said. No public rooms normally dont like us high leveled players. Most will avoid. There is always that one red dot that wants to kill you as a trophy to put on his mantle. I was put into a public room several weeks ago after a mission.
I was just scrolling through missions about to pick another and then I got an alert. It said people are attempting to kick you. You need to behave yourself or you will be put in the bad sports room. Im like wow really? Apparently if someone has a much higher
level than others then you are a cheater/modder even if your just standing around looking through your mission log.

 

well this is the first time that I hear that modders are able to take your money, that's crazy. I have the feeling someone took my ammo to my MG because I always have at least 9000 bullets there.

I was never kicked out of a lobby for having too high of a level though. usually people just want to play with me. could be because I talk on my mic to everyone asking for who wants a certain car, or if someone wants to race or just anything.

I don't know what your doing in those public lobbies, but your experiences are nothing like mine.

 

I can confirm what BAD 2020 said about modders stealing money.... I 'had' 900k, then when I logged in last night (and no, I didn't spend it either) and I noticed I only had 280k left. Just like with Red Dead Redemption, the modders are messing things up
here and it's only going to get worse.

In the public lobbies I've been in, they've been a nightmare... Last night even, I was pursued non stop by three other players who felt it was their 'civic duty' as one said over the headset, to kill and
[Mod Removed] everyone else in the game as "Who really cares? This is the point of the game, kill everyone".

There was also ZERO pop ups for missions, jobs, etc in this lobby (it was also a full lobby of varying ranks... a couple of single figure to a triple figure rank player)... only those who wanted to spawn camp and mess things up for others (I was trying to
work on my Stealth and Flying skills and was killed every single time).

I have noticed though, that there is a distinct lack of people playing the game and I attribute that to Destiny.
