GTA V Online - Many Questions, Ask

Ill start off, OK why does it ask you to chose a name on first setup, but no where in the game does it ever say what my name is.

Always just displays my Xbox log-in name. - not even in social club

I was trying to play along and chose a name and create a charter to match, doesn't work when said name is never shown..........

Actually many launches have been way worse. GTA V online anyone?

 

When will Rockstar update GTA 5 with the patch?

i really doubt there will be any issues with Online, when it releases! come on, they held off Online for two weeks, when GTA V launched, so yes... i highly doubt Online play will have "issues".

come October 1st, this is when i will actually start GTA V, i am refraining from GTA V until Online is Launched

as in, you can't even do the basic first missions of the game, with out other people to help, and so far, no one helps, they just wreck you out or ditch half way through.

I guess that what crews are for, so you can chose only those you wish to do missions with???

 

It can be hard to find people to do missions with lately, when the game first came out it was alot easier. Its almost impossible in bad sport lobby lol, glad im level 125 and nothing else to unlock.

 

You can create more than one character in GTA Online and they each have a different name. So far you can only make two but there are more slots that are greyed out. If you host a mission/job you can invite who ever you like...IE...certain people in your
session..people from the last job you did..or even just friends on your friends list. It is harder to find people to do jobs with now as everyone decided to get to 100 has fast as they could on October 1st.

 

I used to play missions just for fun. But I quit for the reasons you mentioned.

Try to find some one to max upgrade a Futo for you then sell it for the $110,000. Then get a good sports car and do races. Or upgrade the RH8. I've seen that car win way more races then it should lol.

 

I think the OP is talking about tutorial. I could be wrong but I think that in tutorial all the players are AI. So of course no one will help you. Its giving you a brief idea of what online is like. Your going to have to complete this part on your own. If
im mistaken and your not talking about tutorial then please disregard this post.

 

they are not AIs bad, they are real people in the tutorial
