Gta V Online Achievements Not Unlocking on xbox one

Ive done the Character transfer and it unlocked some of the online achievements that were obtained when i played it on the xbox 360. Ive got about 8 still not unlocked which i got already. Kinda annoyed as my all my friends i play with on xbox one got there
achievements to unlock but ive only got about half. They just show as locked like i never did them. Been contacting Xbox Support via twitter and getting nowhere with them.

Broken Achievements

What I meant by unlocking stage, is the achievement as been stuck on 100%. I had an achievement on GTA V one of the very first achievements you should of unlocked for the game recently popped up.

you're not the only one that has this problem, many do.

What makes you think your achievements are disabled?

Did you own GTA V on the Xbox 360 or other previous generation console? If so, did you import your GTA character? This can trigger automatic unlocking of multiple achievements if you earned them previously.

 

Hi TheGeekyBanana, achievements not unlocking is common with the Xbox One. Some users unlock them fine, while others don't. Microsoft are aware of the problem, and are working on it. Worry not, as your achievements will unlock eventually, I know as I
waited for achievements to unlock for Destiny, and they finally did a few days ago.

 

I've been waiting a few months now and mine have not unlocked

 

Oddly enough I am stuck with this too and even though this post is almost 1.5yrs old, it still has not been fixed in GTA Online.. A friend and I recently got the game about a week ago for XB1, transferred our 2.5yr old 360 Online character saves with almost
all achievements unlocked... All his popped, but only half of mine did.. I'm not sure why other than it might have to do with the fact that I quit out of the online mode I was in about 2 mins after joining.. Though at that time the achievements had stopped
unlocking, friend did the same thing by going from the starting public/offline/private and his kept popping... I also tried the "trick" of selecting transfer after it's already been done which will tell you it can't be done more than once and will kick you
back into a public game.. Some people have had this unlock the rest of their missing or a few at a time. For me it only unlocked one more of my missing but as it still stands, 8 or so of mine are currently locked and can't be unlocked without redoing some
other character.

I would recommend to anyone else going through the transfer that they stay in their game for at least 30mins, even though they end up being public for that first transfer load. Just afk in your apartment or go passive and drive around if you don't want
to be killed by randoms.

You'd think they could just create a "if 360 achievement = yes then unlock XB1" via some compare script.

That page says "attempt to unlock achievement again" So for me that reads that if its a sync issue and only your console thinks it is unlocked that if you follow the steps you have to start over on the achievement progress...

(like my issue - console shows 100% for weeks but website does not).
