GTA V on xbox 360 not working

Right, so I recently bought an Xbox 360 Elite from somebody and my gta v wasn't working on it. Itd be unreadable for ages and then when it finally came on, it'd install to about 520 and then stop. I left it installing overnight and I found out the disc was
corrupted or whatever so I bought a new one, it installed no problem but now its cutting out and restarting constantly. But now it's just unreadable, and I'm really mad. Is it just the xbox?

GTA V for xbox 360 on xbox one?

Hi, the xbox 360 version of GTA V is not compatible on the Xbox One. If you want to play GTA V on the Xbox One then you will have to purchase the Xbox One version of the game. Not all games are free to download on the One if you own it on 360 first. GTA
V never had an offer to get it for free if purchased on 360 first. Rockstar games decided not to have promotion like that.

Not that this helps you now, but NEVER ever ever ever buy an Xbox console used.

It sounds like your disc drive is taking a turn for the worse. If you installed it on your HDD, the disc drive only spins the disc when you first start the game, so having it restart mid-game is rather odd to hear.

You can't diagnose a disc drive issue on literally nothing. Your laser may be dirty, or your discs may be shoddy. If your console is freezing, then your HDD may be at fault. Follow the usual steps, start your console without it to make sure it's not the
cause. If your console is having video problems, reset video settings, and make sure all your cables are snug. Try a different cable. "It keeps cutting out" doesn't really help us. What's cutting out? Audio? Video? Console lock ups? Disc errors?

GTA V is a Xbox 360 game so it won't work on the Xbox One.

There is no Xbox One version of the game & the One is not backwards compatible.

If your 360 has died you will need a new 360 or get your 360 repaired in order to play GTA V

Xbox one will not have Backwards compatabilty so if you try to play GTA V for the 360 on xbox one it will not work. They might make a GTA V for xbox one but I'm just guessing at this point. Bungie is making Destiny (their new game) for the 360 and xbox
one so that's why I think it's a possibility that rockstar will do the same.

For GTA V, your game progress and achievements do not carry over from Xbox 360 to Xbox One.

Both versions of GTA V (Xbox 360 and Xbox One) are treated as separate games.

GTA V has already confirmed that the game itself will function and look the same on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

There will be no difference in Performance, colors, or graphics.

Also, just a personal opinion, get the GTA V for the Xbox 360, and with the money you were going to buy

the PS3 + GTA V Bundle with, buy an Xbox One, and play GTA V on there.

(Xbox One will have backward compatibility enabling it to play Xbox 360 games, but only X360 titles

released in 2012 and so on.
