GTA V digitally purchased problem

i purchased GTA V digitally for Xbox 360 why is it not showing up on my Xbox One

it does not show up in my games and in the store it wants me to buy it again

im really confused because xbox says that games i got in the store should be able to be downloaded to my xbox one

Wants me to re purchase digital games I had already owned

I had previously owned GTA V digitally on my Xbox one. Today I bought the one x and i went to download GTA V again but its saying I don’t own it.

Re: GTA V online price. I purchased it the day it arrived on games on demand and that decision alone has put me off digital titles.

I'm sure loads are having fun on it but the digital version is just bad. Lots of pop in. Hurtling down the street after a heist and a bus just pops in 10 metres ahead. Bang, you are dead!Click to expand...

From what i gather that is nothing to do with it being the digital download version. The problem occurs if you install from the disc then play it. The problem is to do with reading it from the hard drive and as all next gen games MUST to be installed to the hard drive, if it is still a problem it will be a problem with digital and and disc versions.

Only games that are backwards compatible will show up as ready to install on the One. Since that game is not backwards compatible, you would need to purchase the One version in order to play it on the One.

I have a similar problem whereas. I have proof of buying a digital copy of gta v and its not allowing me to play it. Saying please insert disc or purchase the game. Which I've already did a few months ago.

So you will have to purchase the digital game in above mentioned bundle in order to be entitled for this offer.

So you got the story mode of GTA V, this is an add on of the online mode, to access it you need to purchase GTA V online mode, and to answer your question, is not a physical edition its digital
