GTA San Andreas BC+360 cloud saves

I have read that you can take your 360 save files from the 360 version of GTA San Andreas and use them on the BC version on the Xbox one but every time I try to put my save files from my 360 onto the cloud it doesn't give me the option to move them onto
the cloud but every other game in my library does. I don't want to start a new game if I don't have too so if someone could please let me know why cloud saves aren't working for GTA San Andreas that would be great!

Transferring GTA San Andreas save to new Xbox 360

I have a disc copy of GTA San Andreas, and I have a save on my old white Xbox 360. I recently bought a new Xbox 360 E and transferred all my game saves with a flash drive, but I'm unable to transfer San Andreas. Is it possible to transfer San Andreas?

It's not up to Microsoft, it's the publisher's who have the final say what becomes BC. You'll be pleased to know that San Andreas is coming to Xbox One.

Hi! Just in order to avoid any confusion: Is your old save file for the Xbox 360 version of GTA San Andreas? Please keep in mind that although both the OG Xbox and Xbox 360 version of this title work on the Xbox One, only the newer Xbox 360 version will
be downloaded and therefore you can only use your old save game if you played the game for the Xbox 360 in the past.

 

Yes my save file is on the Xbox 360 where I digitally purchased it from the store on my Xbox 360, I wouldn't expect them to be able to pull save files from OG Xbox!

 

Can anyone at least confirm they have successfully got their Xbox 360 save file onto the Xbox one? I've Google searched, checked Reddit and I seem to be the only one having this issue which is why I came here.

 

This is why I'm asking: You were able to purchase, download and play the OG Xbox version on the Xbox 360 as well. The second version was later released for the Xbox 360 (and a port of the mobile version), adding achievements and a higher draw distance. The
easiest way to find out which version you own, would probably be to browse through your achievement list. See also these links for further information:

Yes, it works fine for me. Started up my Xbox 360, moved save file to cloud and shortly after that found it on my Xbox One.

 

Alright that makes sense, I have the original Xbox version. I had no idea there was a second version that dropped on the 360! Looks like I'm starting a new game! Thank you dzs MeCH for the help!
