GTA San Andreas Backwards Compatibility Lie?

I purchased the Xbox 360 digital version of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on Tuesday, June 5th, with the guarantee that it would be downloadable from my ready to install section of the Games and Apps tab and that the game would be playable on June 7th on
my Xbox One. It is now late into June 7th and the game has so far only appeared in the store as purchasable only unlike what was claimed. I've seen multiple people with this exact issue and it worries me that it has been several hours since the game appeared
in the store and no one has gotten any answers as to why they cannot play without repurchasing the game. The statement that it would be downloadable on June 7th if purchased beforehand on the Xbox 360 is the only reason I had bought the game. Could someone
from Xbox Support please let anyone of us asking know when this will be fixed?

GTA IV and San Andreas are the only GTA games that are backwards compatible. Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Nothing has been announced, but if you would like to vote for GTA to be supported for backwards compatibility, you can do so here:

At the moment as far as I know Microsoft are still having issues with it. If you purchased it digitally as you say you have then you can try going into your console settings and changing your location to Germany (This should be the third option on the relevant
settings page). Your console will need to restart after this but once it's done that go to the store and check San Andreas again, it should be available for you to download then. Obviously once the download is done change your location back to whatever your
region is. This worked for me so hopefully it'll work for you until such time that Microsoft have a proper fix in place.
