GTA San Andreas audio stops working frequently.

The newly re-released version of gta sa the audio stops during dialog. Very annoying. Did this ever happen with the other versions of the game?

Not on the original - for me the audio cuts out while Tenpenny and CJ are on the car ride.

And I actually had to stop playing because on the second mission with the tag art, CJ gets locked out of the car and the mission cannot continue because of it.

This is not a good look.

 

Yes, this is a known issue with audio dropping out, I think it's because it's an Xbox Originals game. The same thing happened with the previous downloadable (non-HD) version for Xbox 360. Your best bet is just to turn on the subtitles if you don't want to
miss any of the dialogue.

 

Audio drops out during first talking with Smoke and Sweet for me, I never had this problem with the original arcade version. This needs fixed.

 

I have had no problems at all although my friend has been experiencing all of the above

 

I have subtitles on, but so much of what makes the dialog interesting for me is the VO. I never played it before, so I want the full experience. I'll just play other games while I wait for a fix.

 

I think this happened a couple of times on the Xbox version as well.
