    hi I have bought gta v off the store with shark code and was playing online last night and went to go play and it says gta online service not avaible and I checked the rockstar gta online status and it all seems fine just need some help thanks. Jordan

    Think it is why they consider gta online different than gta5. Think they will do a gta online by itself on xbox one with more players per session and such. Will promise more dramatic missions and play, but will be a big glitchy mess.

    I like gta online, even with its missed deadlines, broken glitchiness, and underachieving, but when I get an xbox one, I will have moved on to other games and not come back for a slightly prettier gta online.

    Why can't I play gta online with gta5 game disc?

    gta online for series x is different to the gta 5 online for xbox one that it originally came out on. there is an updated version on series console for online only, not sure if you need to purchase this version.
