    GTA ONLINE ISN'T WORKING FOR XBOX ONE


    For some odd reason whenever I try to load GTA online for Xbox One, it will put me in a public game by myself. The sketchy thing is that nobody ever joins as is if it were a locked lobby so to speak. Also, when I try to join games, it will put me in the
    session with just my friend in the lobby with me, even though others are actually there they do not show up in my lobby list. And after about 1 minute it will say my friend has left, even though they claim I was never in their game, and they have never left
    the session. This has been happening for a while now and I was hoping this was something that could've been fixed by Rockstar and Xbox Live, but it seems to be just me so somebody help PLEASE. Also, this is the only game I am having problems with connecting
    to so there is no logical reason to blame my internet connection. Someone assist me please and thank you.

    I would check your privacy settings on your account to see if you are able to play online.

    I am having the same problem with all of my games. One of them says I don't have the privileges without Xbox Gold, but I could play when it was 5:30a.m.

    Nope. GTA 5 isn't backward compatible at all, never was. Rockstar opted to re-release gta v for the xbox one in 2014. You can transfer your gta online char over, though.

    Should be fine for the most part. The story mode isn't really that much different mate.

    GTA V Enhanced, keeps installing last gen version

    Hi WIlly,

    I think I've figured it out.

    There isn't separate Xbox Series X|S versions of Storey Mode and Online. The enhanced version is all in GTA Online.

    This stumped me as I had no intention of playing GTA Online so chose to download it last but GTA V kept showing as normal version.

    If you download GTA Online you can access the X|S story mode from there
