GTA online having the same fate as...

red dead redemption. i love both games very much. with that said i just picked RDR back up yesterday just to find out that the multiplayer have been corrupted with hackers and glitchers. hell u cant even get on multiplayer. u have to create a private
game if u want to play. my question is do u ever thing GTA online well ever share the same fate as RDR. 'It's not that they got hacked, it's that illegal modders roam free in the game, and Rockstar games actually encourages the activity, which ruins it for

It's a shame it's still happening on GTA online, it literally does happen in 99% of free roams! hopefully GTA 5 wont suffer the same fate after everything's died down online.

Yes, at some point all games die.

Rockstar is actually trying to keep GTA Online clean and banning modders. But eventually they will move on to the next project and GTA will be forgotten and the modders will take over completely.

 

I find playing privately and inviting friends in to be the best way to play online. I don't really want to play with random people.

 

Who said Rockstar encourages it? They're making that up. They won't encourage people to ruin the game for others.

 

I don't mind playing in a public lobby, now days you can see who you have to watch or stay away from. if I were to be in a private lobby though, I would much rather just play single player. its a lot better than online anyday

 

I love both the story and online. GTA5 is like 2 games in one, in my opinion.

 

I agree, but I feel the single play is better for free roaming because theres more to do than online. online you have all these challenges, and yea you have your arm wrestling, but not a lot of people play that. in the single player, you have your crazy
random civilians that you can go to them and they will talk to you, you have your yoga (lol) you have your crazy people in the mountains, I don't know, it just seems to be more going on in campaign to me. in online, if you were by yourself, you will just have
your civilians talking crap about something or gossiping or talking about something stupid, then you got your theater, but no one really goes there, and that's really about it. other than that, its just missions and races

 

Well, GTA 4 is bombarded with modders and they ruin the game by putting you in prison, placing random objects overtop of you, making you utterly defenseless, and indestructible cars and players. GTA 5 could have shared a similar fate, but rarely does it
happen. But I do think people use a lag switch more so than a mod.

 

GTAV should be a progress game, like WOW, and just go on forever, with new content yearly.

 

Well they need the yearly big sale to get another $60 out of us, or they will make up buy a new game and start all over with GTAVI, then GTAVII and so on...

 

Its called progress Buick. Things cant stay in one place forever. I agree Zone weekly content would be great but im would just be happy with once a month. but we cant even seem to get that anymore.

 

I didn't think they were going to make another gta, I thought they would keep adding stuff to this one, but hey, I guess we are all ready for another one
