GTA Online Dilemma. Advice please.

So here's the thing; I've got a friend who I don't see that often, but we've both got Xbox 360s and we love playing GTA online with each other. We play 3 or 4 times a week on average, and have been doing so for at least a year. I am very impressed with the
next gen version and tomorrow i'm going to buy the console and few titles, including GTA V.

I understand that if I transfer my GTA online profile to the Xbox One there is no going back and Andy I won't be able to play together until he upgrades too, which may never happen as he cannot afford to upgrade.

If I play GTA story mode on my Xbox One can I still access GTA online via my Xbox 360?

Supposing I decide to play GTA online on the Xbox one, but not transfer my GTA online character / progress, can I still access that character / progress with my Xbox 360?

And if I can, how does this affect the Rockstar social club? If I effectively have two story modes and two online modes, how does it cope??

I can't find straight answers to any of these questions online, so i'm asking here.

What a rubbish dilemma!!

My advice is to get the BiaB, but then it would be, I loves these games innit?!

 

I need Friendly players for a crew in GTA Online.

Is there any player that enjoys playing GTA V/Online... Please add me so we can prepare for GTA Online Heist Missions... The Hardest Missions of all in GTA Online..

 

From what I have read, you and Andy will still be able to play on the 360, it just wont update on the xbox one after you do the transfer, ie if you level up on the 360 it wont carry over, hope this helps
