GTA Missions

I can't get on to any missions in GTA 5, my character loses all control. I can't get into the house to start the mission and I start losing controls, can't sprint, get into cars or get access to my weapons.

Does anyone have experience of this problem and have a fix, or tell me what I'm doing wrong.

What do YOU want outta GTA5?

I want more missions than GTA IV had. So 100+ missions this time around.

-More side missions for side characters

-More activities (Bowling, eating, darts, gym, shopping, etc...)

-More girlfriends

-Ability to buy houses and businesses

-More pedestrian missions

-Cameos from characters from GTA IV

-Ambulance, Firefighter, Taxi missions, etc...

-Better AI

-Enterable buildings that are not just for decorations

-Everything GTA IV + both DLC's had + more

-Loads of DLC episodic content. GTA IV had 2. I want a lot more this time around

- NO MULTIPLAYER DLC. ONLY SINGLE PLAYER

 

Never heard of that, it sounds very odd. Go to the Rockstar Support page and log a ticket, they may have a fix. You can also try clearing your cache and deleting the install disc from your hard drive and reinstalling it. I don't know if that will help, but
it is worth a try.

The only problems I've had involving missions is it will fail to join. One night though (near the end of double rp+$$$ event), I couldn't get into any missions! Only one RR and that was it! The whole lobby was experiencing this problem as well. You'd just
see people randomly fall from the sky near the RR parking lot.

 

I have the problem. Where the mission will be stuck while the launching symbols just spins for ever and have to dashboard it.

 

Online or Story?

@RED EYE JEDI 81, if it's Online, that is normal and occurs rarely. It happened to me last week.

 

The unlimited loading missions... ah the wonderful times, best fix is to wait it out (Max of 5 Mins) before going to xbox home or resetting your system.

I found that resetting my system works better than just going to the home and relaunching it. That is my personal experience though, but when I do that it tends to not mess up again.

It only happen on the double rp weekend. Seems ok now. Yesterday I was losing connection in the middle of races and missions, but put that down to the update and loads of people being on.

 

I notice any time an event starts or new DLC/updates hit the cloud service seems to stutter and fail much more often than normal. I'd have to say its due to the loads of people trying out the new stuff.

I always go in Story mode and test the new cars out as I have like 1.2billion on on of my character so I can upgrade the new cars take them for a spin and decide if I want them online.
