    GTA keeps Freezing on loading screen?!


    Hi

    after 5-10 seconds of loading as it gets to the rockstar emblem, the game just freezes and eventually returns to the home menu. no error codes or damaged disk warnings. i don't have any other disks to test but i have downloaded forza and that seems to be
    playing fine (from the hard drive) i've tried unplugging from the mains to full shut down and restart the console, and i also downloaded the blu ray player and cleared the persistent storage.

    i'm wondering if i should uninstall the game next? or could i lose some of my saved data? really worried it could be my console that i only purchased a few weeks back before next gen gta was released.

    GTA keeps Freezing on loading screen?!

    Check your disc for metallic like smudges i had the same issue with my xbox it ruined my gta disc

    I had this the other night. I had to set my console offline to load the game. It worked ok last night so I put it down to a Rockstar network issue.

    I had this the other night. I had to set my console offline to load the game. It worked ok last night so I put it down to a Rockstar network issue.

    How do I fix GTA V (Xbox 360) freezing on the loading screen everytime I try to launch the game.

    Yes, it allows me to play other games but GTA V is the only game that freezes on the loading screen.
