    so when i play gta iv, i wanted to record this clip because it had an awesome sound, then i record it, then i review the clip and the clip had no sound, i check everything, its not my xbox because everything else records perfectly, i read one source it said "Microsoft is not allowed to play tracks from outside sources (bands on the radio) on their clips" but i think this is false because if microsoft wanted to do this so bad why wouldn't they just make it like spotify because if i listen to spotify while playing the game, the radio stations dont even exist, so if it is this microsoft, please make it like the spotify thing, i really want audio in this game, if it don't have audio there's no sense in recording then the game feature to record is ruined, at least let us record and when a radio is nearby, cut out the audio

    As stated, the developer can block any recordi g they want to. As the game contains a great deal of copyrighted music

    This is entirely the case that they would prevent you from recording it, as they do not have a license to create derivative works, which allowing end user recordings would be.

    If everything else records perfectly, I must agree that this isn't an issue on Xbox. It's possible that Rockstar may have blocked the ability to record their game audio. You may want to reach out to them regarding this issue here:

    Have you also tried lowering your capture resolution if it allows you to record its audio?

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings.
    Select Preferences > Capture & share, then choose one of the options listed under Game clip resolution.
