it's very ugly from rockstargames that they don't give access to the electronic version in case the dvd or the rest breaks

unfortunately I suffered the same thing with a lot of games,
I bought some back, but I think it's a very bad thing, as if they are made to rot,
especially Forza Horizon and GTA V.

I consider that if you spend 70-80Eur on a game, however, DVDs should also be of better quality, not Verbatim cheap

Not saying this is what you are doing but im just playing devils advocate here in this situation:

If Rockstar did have a way for you to have access to the digital version of the game in cases of your disc breaking there would be nothing to stop someone from just saying "oh yeah my disc broke, can i have the digital copy" then just turn around and sell
the physical copy that was never broken to begin with.

This is why i dont think this will ever happen personally.

Blu-ray drives support DVD playback (Xbox games are on DVD), there is no need for a two drives. Blu-ray movie players can also play DVD, my PlayStation 3 plays my DVD discs. There would be no need for two drives.

If the CPU/GPU rumours are true and the console is going to be using an X86 based multi-core processor, then Xbox 360 games would have to be emulated, unless MS include the old CPU in the new machine.

I think it depends on the make of the dvd drive in the console.I have 5 360's.Burnt cd's/dvd's will work fine in 3 of them but not in the other 2.

GTA V will have 1 disc (blu ray) on PS3. You install it, you play with it.
