    GTA 5 won't start


    I've owned the game for 6 years and now when I try to open the game, my xbox hits me with the "Something went wrong sign in with the account that purchased the game or installed the app..." This started happening yesterday and I haven't found any solutions.
    Has this happened to anyone else, and how did you fix it?

    You might have to remove and then download it again

    I have the same problem with GTA 5.

    I tried the suggested steps, but nothing changed. The game still won't start.

    Story Mode is an add-on to GTA 5 Online. You won't be able to play it unless you own GTA 5 Online.

    if you own the game then fully shutdown the console and start back up, it will still be trying to use the gamepass licence that is now null.
