GTA 5 sign in alert

I am unable to play GTA 5 due to a sign-in error.

When I start up the game I get the "ALERT: You have not signed in" screen with A/B button options that cannot be activated. I read to try starting the game while not signed in, that doesn't work either whether

I'm signed in or not. I followed the instructions in every thread I found going back 5 years, deleting my profile, clearing system cache 3 times, restarting console, re-downloading profile (I tried on both hard drive and usb drive). Deleted old saved games.
Can't change the date but it's accurate. Still no luck and I cannot play the game. I've attempted the same steps 3+ times.

The past few days are the first instances of this issue for me since buying the game on its launch date, making this not only frustrating but entirely confusing.

1. Does that happen if you try launching the game while signed into any other profiles on the console?

2. Is the console connected to your network via a wired connection or wireless?

3. Can you please include a picture of the results you see under Settings>System>Network Settings>[Your Network Name]>Network Statistics?

If it's working better from your USB drive, try using it exclusively from there for a while to see if that is consistent. Also, you may want to check your hard drive for any corrupt files marked with a yellow "!" just in case! If you see any, delete them
and clear the cache.

Oh noes! Sorry to hear that.

Just to be sure, are you still having this happen today? Yesterday we had a service alert active for a couple of hours that had to do with connectivity and parties.

If you're able to, try saving your profile to a different storage device, like a USB flash drive. It can either be downloaded from Xbox Live again or moved from your hard drive.
