GTA 5 showed up (haven't purchased it)

Hello, guys I'm really confused and a little worried. I just turned on my xbox one and I saw Worms is free this month so went to download, as i clicked to download it GTA 5 has showed up in my queued items as a pending download... and I haven't even purchased
it .... So I checked on the store to see if it was a mistake and when I search it on the store it also says queued.

Not sure really what to do in this situation

GTA 5 $1Mil in game cash code didn't work

Just purchased GTA 5 and it came with the $1mil in game cash (half single player and half online). Code went in money never showed. Tried code again and got the error the code was already used. Any fixes?

i bought gta 5 using my gift card and the game never showed up. also i tried recovering it with the xbox support people but they couldnt get it to help either.

 

Ok after speaking with xbox support I think I may have found the answer. I talked to by brother soon as I realised I had the game on my account and hadn't purchased it. He told me he recently purchased it digitally... the xbox support told me that there
is a feature for sharing digitally purchased games.. I guess when I originally bought my xbox one I let him sign into it at one point to try it out. Since then he bought his own xbox one... and I have recently moved house.

I guess because he's purchased the game digitally it has shared it with my console which is the "home xbox" i think that is correct? I didn't even know this feature existed ! is this right because it seems too good to be true? am I breaking any rules here
?

 

That is correct. The Home console thing is basically the same thing as the license transfer on the 360. You can download content and share it with anyone on that console as long as it is set as your Home console. If you were to play on a different console
and assign that one as your Home console, other profiles would no longer have access to the content on the original console. So it's meant to do that.

 

You should be carefull however as this can be classed as marketplace theft. Your brother should set his home console as his own console as sharing any kind of account content in different locations is a no no according to this

Oh right, well I never knew this existed until last night, I now live in my own home so I shouldn't be able to share with him then. How do I turn it off so that it stops happening ?

 

^^ Inform your brother about it. Tell him that he needs to set his own console as his "Home" console.
