Gta 5 online . Can't transfer character on xbone if played on PC

To whom ever it may concern.

I recently purchased Grandtheft auto 5 for the Xbox one. Now I have played the game since its release and had a copy on my PC later down the road. However I tried to play the game now one my xbox one since I had purchased it this year but it seems that
the characters and progress that ive made since its release date would not transfer over because rockstar cannot make multiple transfers for whatever reason. I did contact them and that was basically what they told me. I do not wish to own a game on my Xbox
one if the company (rockstar) is not going to do their part in keeping me an active customer on any platform. Thanks to whoever read this please help me out with this issue and get back to me whenever possible.

I didn't think it was possible either BTW. I have no idea if that source is legit. If it is true that you can cross platform transfer I'm very surprised.

Rockstar is reporting some character transfer issues, especially for people who haven't played GTA Online in awhile. They're rolling out a fix for it tomorrow, so if you haven't played online since 2013 or so you might have to wait a day.

 

This is an in-game issue and has nothing to do with the live service. You should refer to the publisher's answer for this problem.
