GTA 5 install frozen/stuck at 73%!!

I just bought the game today, and it asked for me to install the update, which I assumed that finished. Then Xbox one tells me it is ready to play, but there is a loading bar as well, when I clicked it, it shows the game is installing normally. I know
the game is huge, but has been taking forever to only sit at 73% for like almost an hour now. I tried taking out the disc completely and let start up again, but it stays at 73% still, need help!!!

I am having the same problem as well. I went to install the latest update, it froze, I waited at least 5 hours (I was outside working) and when I came back in it had not moved. So I turned it off, tried the USB solution, and it is now stuck in the same spot
it was stuck in the first time. This is ridiculous. It has wasted at least 3 days of my Xbox Live Gold subscription.

 

GTA 5 Stuck at 90%

Been loading for 3 hours. What should I do. Had a 2G update I guess? Says installing and it's at 90% and stuck. I powered down completely, pulled the power plug, rebooted, goes to 90% and sits there "installing"

Any ideas?

 

Sorry to hear it. It seems as though you have purchased the disc version. If you installed the update before the game was fully installed this could be what is causing the problem.

Try deleting the game then disconnecting your console from the internet and then install the game to see if that helps.

 

I have just encountered this problem. Purchased the game yesterday via digital download. Has now been over 30 hours and appears stuck on 73%. In my games and apps the gta5 appears complete and nothing is queued. However on start up the GTA loading screen
appears with 73%.

Please help as this is taking way too long

 

Yours is a slightly different issue as you purchased a digital copy. Your copy may be installing an update. If it has been there for a while try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. That should fix it.

 

Gta v game has taken 7 days to download from digital market and it's stuck at 97%! On the games and apps nothing is queued for download. It says its ready to play. What do i do?
