    Hello i have the same problem like most ppl with the gta 5 download/installation but my problem is that it doesnt download even in offline mode, and no the disc isnt damaged and it is not dirty. I tried the tipps like download the main game offline and
    then the gta online things with internet but it doesnt work at all, it downloads just fine for an always different amount of time and also downloads always a different amount of gb’s (even when i download it with the online stuff togehter) but then it suddenly
    stopps and the “installation stopped” message keeps popping up. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or if it is possblie to downlaod the game fully digitally if i have the disc? And also i wanted to know if im the only with that problem or not. Thanks

    Thank you for contacting the forums. I am sorry to hear you having issues with installing GTA 5. Have you tried following the

    troubleshoot guide on game installation problems    ? It is not possible to download the full game digitally if you have a disc.

    Fallout 4 launched just fine...without needing to go into Offline mode. Yet GTA V when just going into story mode...the message keeps poppin up. Fallout 4 is on disc and GTA V is downloaded.

    No you are right. I have 5 games and even in offline mode they ask to sign in.

    GTA V online only or can be played offline?

    You can play GTA 5 offline but you can only play story mode or single player mode not online. You will get the same things without being online in story mode but you will not be able to play online
    or use any of the options that are under the Online tab in the pause menu
