GTA 5 Disc 2 unrecognisable

When I install the 1st disc it works fine. Then when it prompts you to insert disc 2 I get the error that it is unrecognisable.

When I turn the console off and on again with disc 2 it still says it is unrecognisable. The game is brand new with no scratches and all other games work perfect!

I have looked into it online but none of the suggested fixes have worked.

I have tried clearing system cache, deleting the game from the hard drive and reinstalling it, taking the hard drive out and putting it back in and deleting the title update. I have tried doing all of that a few times!

Any other suggestions/fixes would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Unrecognizable Disc

When I put a disc in my xbox, it doesn't read and says unrecognisable disc, when i know the disc is fine as it is brand new. Please help microsoft

I bought disc 2 of gta 5 for $10 can I get just the installments that are on disc 1 on xbox marketplace?

 

Check for a local game store/retailer. They sometimes have devices that can fix scratches. Even though you don't see any, chances are their machine will still fix whatever is causing the problem.

Or...check your console's laser. If the disc is "unrecognizable", it could be the laser is going out.

 

The disc does not have any scratches. It was taken out the wrapping and put into the xbox 360.

It is not the laser as I previously said 'all other games work perfect!'.

From looking online this appears to quite a common problem that neither Rockstar or Microsoft will take responsibility for!

Please advise!
