GTA 4 Autosave On X-Box One S

when I try to auto save I am prompted to sign in and then download my profile. However, I am already signed in, so what profile would I be downloading? Also, when I press the start button during the auto save dialogue there is a brief moment when the screen
presents other options regarding selection of storage devices, but I am unable to access them. All this leads me to being unable to access auto save or save via the safe house. What can I do?

Short answer, no, being connected to the internet isn't the same as Xbox Live:With Xbox Live Gold, you get multiplayer gaming, free games, game discounts, and more. And on Xbox One, share your Gold benefits with everyone on your home console. This
is a paid subscription. To further troubleshoot this we need a bit more information, does the account in question have an Xbox Live Gold subscription? Is the console connected to the internet? What are the Network Stats on the console (to check this go to
Settings>Network>Network Settings> Test Multiplayer Connection) Let us know so we can get this figured out and you back to gaming!

Hey Godzilla thanks for keeping us informed.

We apologize for the persistent issue however none of the steps posted above mess with the connection to the internet or Xbox Live. What we believe is happening is to use the save feature (cloud saves) the console needs to be connected to the internet and
the console at the moment is having trouble doing so as per the Network Stats provided. We suggest looking into
Port Forwarding with the ISP since they are better equipped to look into the Network Hardware settings. Give it a shot and keep us in the loop of how it goes!

Hey there Godzilla!

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to save GTA 4. Please don't squish my house.

Now if the aforementioned troubleshooting steps don't work. Try redownloading your profile from inside the Xbox 360 emulator itself. Launch an Xbox 360 game (like GTA) and when it brings it up, press the
menu and the view buttons on your controller (the ones to the right and left of the guide button). That will bring up the 360 guide. From there, go to
Settings> System Settings> Storage> Memory Unit> Profiles and delete your profile. Once you've done that, press "x" to download your 360 profile from Xbox Live with your email and password.

Give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped.
