GT Changed For no reason

I tried to log in to play xbox and i had to redownload my account. When it started i realised the name has changed. To some default gamertag. I contacted supported they feel really bad for me because theres nothing they can do...

Someone kept trying to purchase my gamertag, after a bunch of no's he reported my tag & it reset overnight or something. Im really heartbroken as this GT was my alias on all internet platforms. I want it back so badly. Enforcement says i have a perfect account
and everything. MY gamertag was harmless & not disrespectful in any way.

hello one of you silly buggers have changed my GT for no reason thinking it was a offensive GT when it was nothing close to a offensive one!.. im wanting my old GT back or you are paying for a new one as i have put so much money into xbox and then this happens

It would mean a lot to actually get some real help with this. I don't want suggestions or anything.. I need solutions &I want my gamertag back

spam reporting a name won't work

One it would have to violate the terms of use In order to get a forced name change

2 if a forced name change was issued then the name would not be available to use

As it would be on the banned list

3 if you haven't gotten gold or not active on live in 5 years there is no inactive name change

 

There is nobody on this forum who can directly get you your gamertag back. You need to go to
Sign in to your Microsoft account and submit a Case Review for the forced gamertag change.

Out of curiosity, what, exactly, was your previous gamertag?

 

Surely if a gamertag is not suitable for xbox live then it's not suitable to be posted on the forums?
