Groups/Pins no longer functioning on home screen

After several almost a month of working properly, my custom groups no longer appear on the home screen, instead I receive the following error:

Cant get your content blocks right now. Sorry about that. They should be back soon.

This has been going on now for over a week

Note: The custom groups I created DO appear in the Games and Apps page, along with the Home Button Shortcut. Though i have noticed changes do not stay anymore (random games appear in one group, I remove them from group, next startup they are back)

Unable to remove a pin for content that's unavailable

Hello,

I am having trouble with the Pins on the home screen of the Xbox 360. There are two Pins I am unable to remove from the list. Both pins are for items no longer offered on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Pin #1: Transformers: FoC Demo

Pin #2: Pre-Release Public

I'm not sure what the second pin is for, but I assume it is content that is no longer available. When I click on the pinned item, it takes me to a screen that shows two buttons: Purchase -1 and Pin to Home.

When I push Purchase -1, nothing happens. When I push Pin to Home, it popped up with an error saying "Pins are unavailable at this time."

Also, I've cleared the cache on the system and it had no effect. I want these two pins to disappear, but have found no way to get them to go away.

Hello!

Most of the features on the main screen are there due to how much demand there is for them. There's currently no way to change which options on the interface except for on the Home tab (such as pins and groups). If it's not something you use, you can just
move past to the features you do use.

Hi! Performing a power cycle/hard reset can help in this case:

Besides that, are you part of the preview/insider programme? If so, you might want to consider opting-out since issues like these can occur due to the early state of these dashboard updates/features. Pins/groups that disappear from your home screen will
eventually show up again, this is an issue quite a lot of users experienced.

Hi Twidget, im recomend to you make a groups whit your favorite games and apps, and pin on Home screen. Is more faster and looks pretty.

After checking the new home screen a bit more I must admit you are not that wrong !

Now I can only pin 2 groups ! That is sure not an improvement !

Simply name your first group pins and apply it to the top of your home screen. As far as the guide goes, instead of tabbing over to it like the old way you simply click groups and it is right there at the top (named pins) as your first group. I am absolutely
not trying to make light of your complaint just that there really isn't that drastic of a difference with the new update and to the contrary it allows for far greater customization than before.

You don't.

The only customisation options now are adding up to 2 groups of pins to your home screen. That's literally it. They removed all of the other options so they could advertise Game Pass to you.
