I would like to group multiple games together to create a universal time limit over all the games rather than set individual time limits for each games. Is this possible?

Grouping multiple games together to create a universal time limit

Hello Michael C, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

Unfortunately, Xbox doesn't have a built-in feature that allows you to set a universal time limit for multiple games at once. Parental control settings on Xbox typically allow you to set individual time limits for each game or app.

However, you may be able to achieve a similar result using external tools or features available on your Xbox. Here are a couple of options you can explore:

Family Settings: Xbox offers Family Settings, which allows you to manage and personalize the gaming experience for family members. Within Family Settings, you can set time limits for each individual account or for specific games. While it doesn't provide a universal time limit for all games, it does give you more control over managing individual accounts.

Third-party parental control apps: There are third-party parental control apps available that can provide greater control over play time limits. These apps typically offer features like scheduling, time tracking, and even the ability to set universal time limits for various games. You can search for these apps in the Xbox Store or explore the options available for your specific device.

It's worth noting that Xbox regularly updates its features and settings, so there may be changes or new options available soon.

    Best regards.

@MarwoodII 87: Look at the Final Fantasy series... 14 games so far (not counting spinoffs etc). Each game had a different story (in a sense), characters, world etc. BioWare can do the same with ME, focus on different characters, set in different time
    etc.

    .

Besides, the ME universe is large enough to have multiple stories play out either concurrently or in different time settings. With such a rich universe with a multitude of characters, there's no real limitation to how many stories can run in this universe...
just look at Star Wars and it's expanded universe....

If you could have any game franchise get the MCC treatment, what would it be?

Actually, I'd like to see Halo Wars, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach grouped together, and call it something like.. "Halo: Expanded Universe Collection." Reach at least needs to be on the One, in sparkling high definition.

three xbox(s) in my house under one account not possible?

Yes, game share was the issue. We all have different logins in the same family group so that's not a problem.

I just wish game share worked per IP and wasn't limited to 2. Gaming families that play together shouldn't be punished.

Need help with managing time limit for my son whose gamertag is use my email address

Hi. My name is Brilliant, an independent advisor. I am happy to assist you today.

Parent and child accounts on Xbox are designed to help parents manage their children’s gaming activities. A parent account is the primary account that can create and manage child accounts. Child accounts are created for children under the age of 18 and are linked to the parent account. The parent account can set up parental controls, such as screen time limits, content restrictions, and spending limits, for each child account.

You cannot change your account to be a child account. You will have to create a new account for your child.

To create a child account, the parent account must first create a family group. The family group can have up to six members, including the parent account. Once the family group is created, the parent account can add a child account to the group. The child account will be linked to the parent account and will have access to the parent account’s Xbox Live Gold subscription and other benefits.

    I hope this helps.
