    Grounded saves not syncing to Xbox One after playing on PC


    Grounded just recently did an update that needed a hotfix, so during the wait, I played Grounded on PC. Once the hotfix was done, I downloaded it to my Xbox One and logged in. It said it was cloud syncing my saves but when finished the last save available
    was the last day I played on Xbox (Sept 30th) not on PC (Oct 6th)

    I have deleted my save history on my Xbox, uninstalled the game, did a hard reset, and unplugged all the cords... and waited. Plugged it all back in, reinstalled the game, logged in and my last save was still Sept. 30th.

    Also, I have been in contact with Obsidian (which suggested the above process), they are trying to find a resolution but suggested I also try here on the Microsoft forums.

    Xbox beta saves

    any xbox one game and windows store game that play on Xbox live have there progression saved online so for example if you play forza horizon 4 on xbox one then move to pc, you can continue where you left off (on the windows store version)

    your game save are synced on your Xbox live account so if the game your playing uses Xbox live for multiplayer then it is most likely synced with its xbox/pc counterpart

    the process is automatic (you might see a "syncing save data" process show up)

    when loading a play anywhere game on either pc or xbox it will sync the save, if this was cancelled which is easy to do it will not sync and will upload a new save, there is no way to recover an overwritten save.

    None of this will help as the save has been over-written by a newer save. And that includes cloud save as they used the Xbox after PC so the Xbox would have synced with the cloud.

    Saves still getting lost...

    I have definitely reinstalled the game multiple times and now all saves are gone and the game crashes repeatedly after sync completes..

    Also I should have mentioned this is on PC not XBox One.

    Cant get Gamerscore , Achievements and Activity

    You could also try just deleting the local save data for the specific game. Not the data stored in the cloud. When you go to play again your save data will sync up again. I had this work,coupled the other suggestions when achievements got stubborn in Ground
