    Groove music doesn't work anymore


    Hey,

    I updated to the latest version of xbox & groove.

    I used to be able to stream my music from OneDrive, but now, the app won't even open saying it's not supported in my region.

    What gives?

    Streaming video using bubbleupnp app

    I don't know what error your seeing but it doesn't work anymore anyway. In the last update Microsoft just decided to remove the "DLNA PlayTo" feature from the groove music app on xbox. So you can't stream to xbox using bubbleupnp anymore and apparently there's
    no time-frame for fixing it.

    Groove Music Support doesn't exist.

    That doesn't make sense. What region are you in? What's your console set to? Have you changed anything in regards to your local recently?

    Background music for xbox one 2019 does not work

    Groove music was discontinued on December 21, 2017. That's why it doesn't work anymore.

    Xbox One - Background Audio (Media Player,VLC,Groove Music)

    There are other apps that support background music besides Spotify though.

    According to this site, VLC, Groove, iheartradio, and Pandora support the feature. Additionally, there is the Simple Background Music Player app that lets allows for playback from USB devices.

    That app plays audio files in both M4A and MP4 formats, in addition to MP3, WMA, and FLAC.

    In regards to Groove, it doesn't sound like you can stream anymore.
