    completely peeled away... And there's no way in hell Microsoft is getting another penny out of me for another controller. In fact I've shown my controller and 2 other friends controllers to anyone curious about wanting one and successfully convinced them
    to NOT buy one.

    You hear THAT Microsoft? No $$$ for you!!!

    And the more uninformed consumers that DO buy will create MANY more informed consumers who will ALSO spread the word NOT to buy it.

    I will most likely be buying one. Had my current elite for some time now and the grips are falling off. Waiting on the release as there is no point of buying a new gen 1 controller

    Are the more recent Xbox One controllers of better quality?

    Most controller I've had have lasted 2-3 year (if treated) that are Xbox branded, however the Xbox elite controller over time the plastic grip will fall off and the magnet pieces can be frustrating in intense situations.

    plastic cement can usually fix that, but beware once the rubber is worn it may be time for a new one

    Superglue fixed my Gears5 controller grips, but the heat from your hands and the flexing dissolves the cement.

    I own the Elite controller but I wouldn't recommend it. Everyone that I personally know and has owned one and had the grips fall/peel off. I've been a big fan of Razor's products but haven't tried the Wolverine.
