    Grinding Noise When EJECTING Disc


    Hi, I'm wondering if the grinding noise when I eject a disc is normal. I tried different discs (Blu Ray, DVD and games) but it's the same noise. I took a video of it, here is the link.



    It sound smooth when disc going in. Grinding noise happen only when disc coming out.

    My disc won't eject

    my disc is stuck in my xbox 1.I have followed every step to eject it and even manually ejecting didn't work.The disc is jammed...when I turn the system on to retry to eject I hear a grinding noise....any help would be appreciated

    I have not heard any grinding noises on any of the consoles and the problem is resolved immediately by ejecting the disc and reinserting it.

    Grinding Noise When EJECTING Disc

    When your disc comes out. Can you tell if its perfectly straight? Or does it sit there and a slight angle with the outer disc aiming downward a little bit?

    Hi,

    I barely heard the grinding sound after watching the video. For me, I wouldn't be worried, but if you are then I would suggest calling Support to consider sending it in.

    Hey ! Are you able to see the disc move at all when pressing that manual eject? Additionally if you have a Microsoft Store near you, they may be able to assist. Post back and let me know!
    No can not see anything. There is a lot of grinding noises coming out everytime I try to eject the disc. I get no reaction at all when I try the manual eject

    its brand new but wont be read

    It's not recommended to move your console while the disc is in it. Oddly enough, I predict a "Ghosts jammed my Xbox, it's making crunching/grinding noises and won't eject" thread.
