    Grinding disk, won't eject disk


    My Xbox makes a grinding noise every time I put a disk inot the Xbox. I was fine with it until I did an update April 1 2017 when I got back home from a trip. When I put fallout 4 into the Xbox it made the same noise in which it didn't let the Xbox read the
    disk. So then I tried to eject in which it wouldn't come out. I tried putting a 1.5 hex key throw the little hole on the side in which it did nothing. Every time I try turning on my Xbox it make sure the noises like it wants tim eject the game but it can't.
    So I'm hoping someone's else had This problem and can help me fix it

    I put my Xbox game disk in and it makes a grinding sound and wont eject the disk

    Disk won't eject

    Hi,

    For some reason my disk will not eject. I've tried to insert a paperclip into the manual ejection slot, but nothing has worked. Also, the system keeps making a grinding noise. Can someone give me some advise?

    i had to take mine apart and get the disc out that way. I then fiddled with a plastic lever inside the dvd drive fixing it. Also while in there I got a QTIP with rubbing alcohol and dabbed the laser lightly. Ran perfect since. be very careful opening it
    and watch a YouTube video. Good luck

    PS. Sometimes moving the xbox with a disc in it or not can cause a little lever on dvd tray to get funky and only way to fix is to open her up.

    GOW3 RESET RUBISH

    Never turn the XBOX off with gears 3. Always eject the disk if it freezes. If the disk won't eject then power off.

    Yes if you have already tried to use the manual ejection slot and that didnt work then you will need to send the system in for repair.
