    Grey Translucent Bar, Wont Go away unless reboot!


    I have my xbox one setup for power saving, so it takes a little while to start up every time.

    The problem that I have is randomly when I turn on the console there will be a Translucent Grey box in the bottom center of the screen. The box/bar is persisent on any xbox one app or game, but does not effect the tv (Tried switching inputs and its not there.)
    This bar will not go away during netflix, games, live tv or anything. I've tried changing settings and haven't found a fix.

    Every time that this happens, I can restart the console and then it is gone. This is random occuring, but random enough that it has happened 3 times in the past week. I think this is some sort of software glitch because it did not happen with the original
    dashboard; it has only began since the windows 10 themed update.

    I've searched online and can't find anyone else with this issue. Am I the only one? I will take a screenshot the next time it occurs, but i'm not sure if it will matter.

    xbox home buttons send me to friends profile

    I have an xbox one and everytime i hold down home button it pops up a friends proifle instead what it usually bring up??? theres also a random grey rectangle in top corner of the screen that wont go away? its really frustrating and cant make it go away....help???

    Split screen grey bar?

    Fixed mine - just deleted and reinstalled the game. Should have tried that first.

    I don't have my console in power saving mode but I've been getting this same grey bar on the bottom of my screen as well as a long time (2-4 minutes or so) on a black screen immediately after the Xbox one logo when powering it on.

    I just got this tonight and I've tried completely restarting my xbox, unplugging all the cables and turning it back on. Nothing has seemed to work so far. If anyone knows how to fix this please help! Kind of annoying have a rectangular translucent box
    at the bottom of your screen when you're trying to play games or watch a movie.

    I had this tonight. Holding down the Xbox button for a few seconds removed it. It was like one of those notification boxes where it tells you to hold the Xbox button for a few seconds to switch, however there wasn't any text at all in the box.

    My roommate and I share an Xbox One and ours is doing this as well. I have went through practically every setting and none of them makes it go away.
