Grey Invite to everyone

Ever since my Xbox game pass expired, there have been issues I have been experiencing. Just today I try to invite my friends on Xbox through party and it is grey, I try on their profiles and it is grey too. Thought Minecraft it does the same. I have don’t a hard factory reset, power cycle, disconnecting the power and reconnecting, it dose not work. How can I fix this.

Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription, Dylan? To play a paid online multiplayer game on Xbox, an Xbox Live Gold subscription is required. To check, please follow the steps below:

"Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions."

Check your privacy settings and that way you will be able to change any setting that prevents you from inviting other gamers in parties.

Hello! Have you tried a hard reset?

Steps:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until the Xbox One completely shuts down
Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console’s power brick are off, disconnect the power brick from the back of your console
Wait at least 5 minutes
Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on
