Greetings Xbox Forums i have had an ongoing issue with another xbox live member who took away one of my original gamertags calling xbox support did nothing and this guy took my account 6 years ago i still want my gamertag back wish someone would talk w me

Party overlay

Yesterday, was playing online with a friend using in game voice chat. I had party overlay off. Upon finishing our game, I closed out of the game and logged out of my Xbox account. Powered down my Xbox via controller. Ten minutes later my son logged in to HIS Xbox account. In the upper left corner, the party overlay was on. My friends gamertag was listed. My son and my friend have never been friends on the Xbox. It would not go away. I logged back into my account, deleted our friendship, even blocked my friend. Still nothing! My son and I are not friends on Xbox. I called my friend, he logged off and turned his Xbox off, still nothing. I did a power cycle restart via the Xbox button on the Xbox. That took care of the issue. Any suggestions so I do not have to go through all that Everytime I play? Anyone else have this issue?

 

Account Hacked: I know the hacker

Well my xbox account was hacked and i know the person who did it and i also have gotten my account back. I successfully took it back and he is still causing me and a young 15 year old girl problems on xbox live hes being sexually towards her and hes over
18 years old. Id just like to know what you guys at xbox would do about this. I also have proof he tried to change my alias i got a text and the email matched 2 of his. Also to get me not to tell anyone he gave me an xbox live account with games to bribe me
and he then took it back because he claims he didnt give it to me. I dont even want it anyways.

First, why did you wait 6 years to try to get the account back? After that much time, it will be very hard to prove the account was indeed yours. Second, how did he get the account? The only real way an account can be hijacked is if you gave out your login
details. Thats never a good idea. I hate to say it, but after this much time, I have my doubts as to you getting the account back.
