    Greenscreen issues & offline update freezing


    so overnight my 13 month old Xbox one has completely died

    Switched it on & it was stuck on the green loading screen, on the screen the top &right hand side was littered with pixalited marks

    I left it for 1 hour & it was still stuck in this state

    tired a couple of power cycles but still no joy

    so have tried an offline update - it got 3/4's of the way though & then just froze (left it again for about an hour but no movement/no change

    then tried the factory reset via usb, exactly the same issue, gets 3/4's of the way through then stops

    First reports of DOA / broken Xbox One's surfacing?

    Just wondering if these issues with greenscreen and console
    Rebooting, etc are something to so with the day one update?

    Has everyone had issues after the update or is it a limited few?

    I'm wondering if it's an idea to just do a hard reset of the console after the update installs.

    the greenscreens not the issue, you missed the whole part about it doing nothing when i hit factory reset.

    Xbox Freezes on Startup after getting April's Update

    Was able to remove the update and I can rummage around in offline mode, but playing games in offline mode still freezes them.

    Everytime I redownload the update, it lasts for a minute or two then freezes and begins freezing during startup again
