Green static and lines

When playing for a while on the Xbox series X, I will occasionally get green lines and/or green static on the screen. It gets a little better if I reset the console, and some menus will be on top of the issue, while some will not. Any ideas what is going on?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly try a different HDMI cable or a different TV, Dangeruss77.

Also, try to turn off Auto-HDR.

Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options. Under the Advanced column, choose Video modes and uncheck the option to Allow HDR10.

The green/static lines you’re seeing isn’t an xbox problem its most likely your tv. Hope this helps!

Try another tv if that keeps going on the console might need repairs ... xheck your warranty...

I only have the 1 S so I'm not sure if this is only 1 X related but I would agree that you might need to send it in for repair/replacement.

Are you still under warranty?
