Green spinning circle external hard drive

I get a green spinning circle when trying to format external hard drive, please help

Youtube app not working?

I deleted the app from my hard drive and redownloaded it, still does not work. All I get are the spinning circles on my screen, does not load up.

 

New Xbox One Controller Colors

I will probably pick up the grey/green controller once I purchase an external hard drive for my Xbox One. Priorities man lol

 

From what I have heard this is an issue with the new xbox experience dashboard and happening to folks in the preview program who have downloaded it. Same is happening to me at the moment, just have to wait for a patch to fix, or people have said if you format
your drive on a different xbox that does not have the new dashboard and bring it to yours it will work.

 

Just have to wait for the patch for them to fix then, thats what I am doing.

I have the same problem. Xbox customer support was of NO help. They directed me to the forums.
